Quick Canvas

We're still unpacking and getting ready for the big week ahead, but I thought I'd sneak in a quick little canvas...shhhh....
The image is from With an Indian Touch. I really love these beautiful Indian images.

Made it!!!

My family and I have managed to move further north to Kununurra. That's a total of 3200kms from our hometown in Perth. We've been so busy cleaning, packing and driving- I really don't look forward to doing this again, although I know it's inevitable.
I have not been able to get to your blogs, but I will as soon as my furniture arrives and we settle in- I really appreciate and want my bed now!!
The town is beautiful and so much has changed in it.

A Little Further North....

It has been such a huge change for our family this week. On Tuesday we found out that we were leaving our town and heading to a new town, a little (lot) further north. It is a town we lived in about 9 years ago.

In the space of a few days our classrooms were packed and we've packed up our house as much as possible- a HUGE job!!

This town has been such a wonderful place to live in and we've made some fantastic friends over the last two years.
It's with great sadness we say goodbye and thanks to everyone for being so kind.

I can't believe the gifts we received from you in such a short space of time. It was all totally unexpected!!!
You guys are AWESOME and I will treasure the friendships I have made here forever.

Big Fish

I made these credit card technique ATCs with Ceremony and Digital Collage Sheets.  I just love the movie Big Fish-the tall tales and just the way the story is woven...Tim Burton is just amazing.
I guess I'm inspired by....

Micrscope Slide ATCs, Happy Birthday and Farewell!!

♥ Phil and Bec ♥
As the year draws to a close I have to say good-bye to a wonderful couple who are moving on. These two people were the first friends we made in town and their friendship has meant so much to me and my family. We'll miss you guys so much, next year!! Thank you for your friendship and kindness. Enjoy your well earned break, have fun and enjoy your new adventures.

Here are a couple of Microscope Slide ATCs. I created the background using the credit card technique but the colours got a little too muddy-so I used some microbeads. Images are from Ceremony.
A wonderful tutorial can be found on Kelsey's blog. Kelsey has the most amazing techniques!!!

Happy Birthday to my Mum!!! I hope your day is fantastic!!!!

Inchie ATC

I thought I'd have a go at inchies. The images are from ItkUpiLLi.
Sorry about the scan.

Cuttlebug Background ATC

I used the Cuttlebug ironworks embossing folder for the background of this ATC. The image is from Itkupilli.

Blog Award & Soot Technique!!!

I love the effect of this technique. You can find all instructions to do this technique on Kelsey's blog. The stamps are from Bombshell Stamps.

A Few More Quick ATCs...

Just a few more quick ATCs. These images are from ItkUpiLLi.
I love this shop!!!

I have been super busy with work, as we're entering into the world of end of year concerts, report writing, assessing and basically trying to ensure that everthing is finished properly. I really can't believe how quickly this year has gone- I really love my class this year.

A Couple of Quick ATCs...

Adventurer

Lovely Yellow
The `Lovely Yellow' ATC background has a texture paste background. The `Adventurer' has a Cuttlebug embosssed background and Morroccan border punch from Blue Bazaar. The imagews are from ItkUpiLLi.

Texture Paste

I love my borders punch from Fat Cat's Card Corner. The image is from Digital Collage Sheets.
Although it's hard to tell, I've used texture paste to create the background and left the quote a little grungy-looking.

Glimmermist and Stamped Backgrounds

I used glimmermist with a stencil to create the backgrounds and a punch from Fat Cat's Card Corner to create the borders. The last ATC has mica flakes on it.
I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday!!

Just a quick one...

The stamp is from Bombshell Stamps.
